Product with a design perspective

I’m a Senior Product Manager with over 9 years of experience in digital products. My career began in Product Design and evolved into broader responsibility for strategy, discovery, delivery and outcomes.

Design taught me to understand people and simplify problems; Product Management expanded that perspective to decisions, strategy and outcomes.

I feel especially comfortable when the problem is not clearly defined.

When multiple systems, teams, constraints and legacy processes are involved, my role is to understand what is happening, separate signal from noise and turn that complexity into decisions the team can act on.

My path to Product Management

My career began in digital design. Working closely with users taught me to understand their needs, question assumptions and simplify complex experiences. Over time, I became increasingly interested in the decisions behind the interface:

Why are we building this?
What problem are we really solving?
What should we prioritise?
How can technology help?
How do we measure whether it worked?

That naturally led me towards Product Management. Today, design remains an important part of how I work, but my perspective is broader: I think about the problem, the product, people, technology and the outcome as a single system.
